Estimated percentage of rental units with lead certificates

The think tank HousingWorksRI estimated that in Dec. 2022, 11% of rental units in Rhode Island had lead certificates. Their estimate uses Census data and includes all renter-occupied units built before 1980, so is a slight overcount. Municipalities with fewer than 500 rental units were excluded.
