Changes in "happiness scores" of G7 populations

Canada has seen the second greatest average decline in happiness in the past 10 years of G7 countries. Descending per cent decrease average in "happiness ratings" between 2013 and 2023: Italy, 0.418 (increase in happiness); Japan, -0.06; France, -0.154; Germany, 0.199; United Kingdom, -0.336; Canada, -1.021; United States, -1.031.

To determine the "Happiness" score, selected country's participants of the World Happiness Report were asked from 2006 to 2023 to evaluate their life with 10 representing the best possible life and zero the worst possible life.
