In some cases, reported categories change. For the Class of 2020, for example, humanities and social sciences were combined at 14% and later broken out for the Classes of 2021 and 2022. Likewise, for the Class of 2022, MIT Sloan broke out automotive/transportation/defense which in previous years might have been captured by a category called industrials.
