COVID community transmission levels: Dec. 1

For the past week the CDC classified every county in Florida as having low community transmission levels because of missing case data. On Thursday, new numbers were released and all but four Florida counties were reclassified as moderate or substantial.

Select a date below to compare levels:

Dec. 1   Nov. 30

Community transmission levels are determined using the number of new cases per 100,000 persons within the last 7 days and the percent of positive COVID tests in the same period.
