Number of IP shows opened on Broadway that year

Over the past five years there has been a growing increase in the number of shows opened on Broadway that are based on previous works such as novels, albums, movies and TV shows with the all time high being in 2024.

The total number of shows opened in 2020 was significantly decreased due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of Broadway theaters.
