Housing vulnerability among renters

As a whole, renters experience higher levels of housing vulnerability than homeowners, particularly among Black people and Hispanics. But only Asians saw their degree of housing vulnerability – as measured by being at least one month behind on rent – surge in 2021 after hundreds of billions of dollars of federal aid had been spent supporting households.
