Worries among Americans about possible COVID-19 infection tick down

A new AP-NORC poll finds a majority of Americans still fear contracting COVID-19, but that worry has dropped over the past few months. Democrats are more worried than Republicans.

Results based on interviews with 1,434 U.S. adults conducted Feb. 25—Mar. 1. The margin of error is ±3.4 percentage points for the full sample.
