KCKPS special education teachers (2021-22 school year through 2024-25)

Special education teachers are among those that KCKPS has struggled to recruit and retain in recent school years, according to the district. The district's total number of special education teachers serving students across grade levels decreased from 239 in the 2021-22 school year to 159 in the 2024-25 year.
