EU trade with China

China is the European Union's second-largest trading partner after the United States. Bilateral trade in goods reached 732 billion euros ($860bn) in 2024. Chinese exports to the EU represented 14 percent of its total goods exported in 2024.

Trade balance measures whether a country's exports exceed its imports. Negative values show the EU buys more from China than it sells.
