Residents in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee report having 18 mentally unhealthy days every month, the highest in America 

Unhealthy mental days are measured using a survey that asks, "Now thinking about your mental health, which includes stress, depression, and problems with emotions, for how many days during the past 30 days was your mental health not good? "
