Casinos are big business for Valley tribes

Five Native American tribes in and around the central San Joaquin Valley operate Indian gaming casinos under agreements, or "compacts," with the state of California. While revenue figures are confidential, the state does disclose how much each tribe pays in license fees into a Revenue Sharing Trust Fund (RSTF) since opening its casino

License fees represent total received by the state sine each casino opened as of Dec. 31, 2021.
