ATL Airport flights per year, since 2012

The number of flights handled at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport each year, from 2012-21. Delta Air Lines has replaced smaller 50-seat regional jets with larger aircraft over the years, allowing it to carry more passengers with fewer takeoffs and landings. As a result, the number of flights at Hartsfield-Jackson has not increased to the point of needing a sixth runway.
