Households across six Oregon counties requested that their SNAP benefits be replaced after a wildfire this summer

Between July and August, a total of 169 households living across six Oregon counties requested that the Oregon Department of Human Services replace the benefits they received under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program after the food they bought with it was lost or spoiled because of a wildfire.
