Switzerland and its diaspora are in agreement on the reform of civilian service
Results of the vote on June 14, 2026, on the optional referendum concerning the amendment to the Federal Civil Service Act (LSC), in the districts of Swiss citizens abroad and for the electorate as a whole.
*The FSO provides detailed statistics on voting by Swiss citizens abroad for only 12 cantons: Aargau (AG), Appenzell Inner Rhodes (AI), Basel City (BS), Fribourg (FR), Geneva (GE), Lucerne (LU), St Gallen (SG), Thurgau (TG), Uri (UR), Vaud (VD), Valais (VS) and Zurich (ZH). Votes cast by Swiss citizens abroad calculated on the basis of 46'005 valid ballot papers.
