Actual GDP and Estimated GDP With Racial Equity in the Workforce (in Billions)

The “equity dividend” is calculated using data from IPUMS USA for 2017-2021 for the working age population (16+) and is then applied to estimated GDP in 2021. Values are in 2021 dollars. The underlying universe for this chart was previously the 25 to 64 year old population. Now, it has changed to all people 16 years and older.
