Source: Institute for Government analysis of DfE, ‘School funding statistics: Financial year 2022–23’ (2010/11–2023/24) and figures provided directly by DfE (additional teacher pay grant, 2023/24), supported by CIPFA. Notes: Comparable figures are only available from 2010/11. Figures cover both mainstream and non-mainstream schools, and cover major revenue funding streams but exclude some smaller elements of revenue funding and specific Covid-19 funding.
