When enrolment changed dramatically but SET allocations did not follow

Each dot represents a school with at least 50 pupils in 2017 whose enrolment changed by at least 25%. The graph shows the 118 schools where SET hours remained unchanged or moved in the opposite direction.

Enrolment compares 2017 with 2025/26. SET hours compare 2017 with 2026/27. Schools without complete figures are excluded. Other allocation criteria may affect individual schools, but the published data does not explain these results. All data comes directly from DoE and NCSE tables which may be incorrect.
