States with likely wage increases with enhanced ARPA funding

All states (and D.C.) had a likely wage increase, except for Alaska, Arkansas, Nebraska, Mississippi, and South Dakota.

"Likely permanent wage increases" may also include temporary wage increases or special payments.

Six states have not specified if wage increases will be temporary or permanent (Md., Mich., Minn., Tenn. Texas, Vt., and Wyo.); one state did not specify any speculations for spending a provider bonus (Ariz.).

Benefit increases are not reflected on map above; states with benefit increases include Conn., D.C., Maine, and Ohio.
