More than a quarter of households in four New York districts received SNAP assistance in the past year

Three of the five most SNAP-reliant districts across the nation are in New York.

SNAP recipient rates were calculated using ACS estimates for the number of households per district that received SNAP or food stamps in the past 12 months.
