Deal will protect endangered forests near Alabama-Georgia border

The nonprofit The Conservation Fund announced it has completed the transfer of more than 10,000 acres of ecologically rich lands spread across multiple parcels in the Dugdown Mountain Corridor to public ownership in Alabama and Georgia.
