Creator Footprint vs. Share of Search Value by State

This table compares the 10 states with at least 50 analyzed creators, ordered by the size of their creator footprint in the dataset. It shows each state’s share of all sampled creators alongside its share of total Ahrefs Traffic Value, revealing whether the state generates more or less search value than its creator count would proportionally suggest.

Share of All Creators is calculated as the number of creators analyzed in a state divided by the total number of creators in the full U.S. sample.
Share of Total Search Value is calculated as the state’s combined Ahrefs Traffic Value divided by the combined Traffic Value of all creators in the U.S. sample.
Search Value Compared With Creator Share - a result of 0% means the state’s search-value share is proportional to its creator share.
A result shown as “above” means the state generates a larger share of search value than its creator count would suggest, while “below” means it generates a smaller proportional share.
