Storm Tracker: 2024 Atlantic hurricane season

In its August forecast, the NOAA predicted that 17 to 24 named storms, 8 to 13 hurricanes and 4 to 7 major hurricanes would take place during the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season.

So far this year, there have been 13 storms in total, including 8 hurricanes and 3 major hurricanes. 5 storms have made landfall in the United States at hurricane strength.
