How Colorado's unemployment rate measures up to the U.S.

Colorado’s January 2025 unemployment rate was 4.7%, higher than the U.S. rate of 4.0%. The total number of employed Coloradans increased by 2,200 in January. The number of unemployed Coloradans grew by 2,600 to 152,800, according to a March 2025 report by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.
