Notes: USDA used 2021 poverty income guidelines to determine FY 2022 SNAP eligibility standards. In 2021, the federal poverty threshold for a family of two adults and two children was $26,500. Deep poverty is defined by the U.S. Census Bureau as having income below half of the federal poverty threshold.
