COVID-19 hospitalizations per 100,000 Americans by age

Across the U.S., about 175 people out of every 100,000 had been treated in a hospital for COVID-19 by mid-September, according to the CDC. Americans over 65 were twice as likely to be hospitalized as those 50-64 and four times more likely than those ages 18-49.
