ARIE's ranking shows that regional entrepreneur success does not correlate directly to VC activity

For the Advancing Regional Innovation Economies 2025 report, researchers combined census-level, income-based indicators and growth of incorporated firms in high-growth industries, as well as qualitative dives in standout metros, to come up with their rankings. It's a very different indicator than just quantitative deal count or total raise.
