Percentage of Ontario's RNs who reported they intend to leave the profession after the COVID-19 pandemic. Each column represents an age group. 5.8 per cent of nurses aged 21-25 reported they are very likely to leave the profession. 13 per cent of nurses aged 26-30 reported they are very likely to leave the profession. 13.3 per cent of nurses aged 31-35 reported they are very likely to leave the profession. 9.5 per cent of nurses aged 36-40 reported they are very likely to leave the profession. 9.1 per cent of nurses aged 41-45 reported they are very likely to leave the profession. 7.5 per cent of nurses aged 46-50 reported they are very likely to leave the profession. 9.6 per cent of nurses aged 51-55 reported they are very likely to leave the profession. 10 per cent of nurses aged 56-60 reported they are very likely to leave the profession. 5.4 per cent of nurses over the age of 60 reported they are very likely to leave the profession.
