Which countries have the highest rates and/or fastest growth of Covid-19?

For the week ending June 27, for the selected countries shown, the countries with the highest number of new cases per 100K population last week are shown at the right of the chart -- Panama, Kuwait, Brazil, Sweden, and the United States. Countries with the fastest-growing increase in new cases are show at the top of the chart, and include Sweden (possibly a data quirk), Israel, Argentina, South Africa, Kuwait, and the United States. Note that most European countries are at the bottom left edge of the chart, with very small numbers of new cases per 100K population.

HOW TO READ: Mouse over bubbles to see country name and key statistics. Countries furthest to the right had the highest rates of new Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population last week. Countries at the top of the chart had the fastest growth rate in new cases (comparing last week to the week before). Size of bubble indicates country population, color of bubble indicates continent.
