Enrollment is increasing at charter schools.

Enrollment at San Diego County's charter schools is heading in the opposite direction as enrollment at district-run schools. Over the past decade, charter schools have added 25,675 students, increasing overall enrollment from 62,672 to 88,347. That's a 41 percent leap.
