Notable in the figures is the lower than average Coalition figure from 2013-2022. This is the result of a net loss in migration to Australia during the Covid-19 pandemic, which began in 2020. Australia's borders were re-opened in February 2022, just prior to the election of the Albanese-Labor Government.
