Manhattan Residential Contracts from April 20-26, 2026

During the third week of April 2026, Manhattan recorded 245 apartment and townhouse signings, two fewer than the prior week but 33 more than the same week in 2025. Aggregate dollar volume, based on last ask, fell 7% week over week but rose 11% year over year. The median asking price of signed contracts was $1.395 million, up 17% from the previous week and in line with a year ago. Average time on market fell to 97 days, the lowest level so far this year, likely due to increased inventory and stronger buyer urgency.
