Detroit eviction filings slowed amid the pandemic

Eviction filings dipped during 2020 but began climbing again towards previous rates.

Evictions in Detroit were 21.2 percent in 2019, falling to 8.1 percent in 2020 during the pandemic. They rose to 14% in 2021 and 20.6 in 2022.
