This chart shows the net favourable/unfavourable ratings of Danielle Smith and Rachel Notley. Smith has a 73% favourable rating among her party's loyal voters, 59% unfavourable among reluctant UCP voters, 79% unfavourable among NDP voters and 26% unfavourable among smaller party voters. Rachel Notley is 68% unfavourable to loyal UCP voters, 9% favourable to reluctant UCP voters, 92% favourable among NDP voters and 20% favourable to smaller party voters.
The survey was conducted with a random sample of 1,000 Alberta adults Dec. 6 - 10 via an online panel. Because the survey was done by an online panel, it cannot be considered a true probability sample. However, a comparable margin of error for a sample that size is +/-3.1 percentage points 19 times out of 20.
