County Regional Groupings: The Northern region includes Butte, Colusa, Del Norte, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Nevada, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity counties. The Sacramento area includes El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties. The Bay Area includes Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Sonoma counties. The San Joaquin Valley and Sierras region includes Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Fresno, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Mono, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tulare, and Tuolumne counties. The Central Coast region includes Monterey, San Benito, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties. The Inland Empire includes Imperial, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties.
