Health Outcomes

Health outcomes indicate how long people live on average within a community and how much physical and mental health people experience in a community while they are alive.

Premature Death: Years of potential life lost before age 75 per 100,000 population. Poor or Fair Health: Percentage of adults reporting fair or poor health. Poor Physical Health Days: Average number of physically unhealthy days reported in past 30 days. Poor Mental Health Days: Average number of mentally unhealthy days reported in past 30 days. Low Birthweight: Percentage of live births with low birthweight (less than 2,500 grams).
