A small wildland fire Tuesday, June 7, on Hopewell Road, south of Highway 180 in the foothills east of Fresno, caught the attention of Fresno County elections officials operating an Election Day vote center several miles away in Squaw Valley. The fire did not disrupt voting at the center, however.
