Desegregration of State Flagship Universities
Of the state flagship universities, only the University of Delaware had graduates prior to the Civil War. The rest were generally post-Reconstruction period. The first Black graduates for the flagship universities in Alaska, South Dakota and Wyoming are so far unknown.
