Are e-bike riders involved in crashes wearing helmets?

Only two of the 54 people were wearing helmets at the time of their crash, according to the Coral Springs Police Department.

This drastically increases a rider's chance of sustaining a traumatic brain injury, skull fractures and brain bleeds, all of which can lead to disability or death.
