Disruptions along the Afghan border have been slowly down cement exports, but domestic market has been more than inclined to carry the extra load. In the eight months to FY26, total offtake grew 11 percent; exports up 6 percent (with a big push in February). Even though capacity utilization has fallen significantly since FY22, it is slowly rebounding in FY26 from the mid-50s to now reaching 61%, thanks to improved demand in the domestic markets. Even with the middle east crisis brewing, cement remains poised to move into a new phase of growth.
