The College Board implemented a redesigned SAT in 2016. Scores from previous years are not directly comparable. Reported SAT scores are based upon the 2016 redesigned SAT. A very small number of students submit scores from prior administrations, which are not included in these figures. Institutions submit aggregated data on average SAT scores for all incoming freshmen. Some institutions do not require SAT scores for admission. Institutional score ranges are based upon those scores that were used as a basis for admitting students to the institution.
