Venezuela used to be Cuba's top oil supplier

Venezuela, Russia, the Netherlands and Algeria were once the top four importers of petroleum and oil to Cuba. Since the U.S. capture of Nicolás Maduro in January 2026, Venezuela is no longer exporting oil to Cuba.
