Illinois sees largest spike in new initial unemployment claims

Numeric increase in new initial unemployment claims from week ended Oct. 3-10, not seasonally adjusted

Indiana's estimate is due to a Department of Workforce error, at least 10,000 of these claims are continuing claims according to the office. California and Montana are state estimates.
