White's position slips away — move by move

Negative values favour Black. At move 1 the position is equal by definition. By move 11 Stockfish evaluates at 0.00 — a theoretical draw, with multiple reasonable continuations available to White. Move 12 (Kc2) shifts the evaluation to -0.55: a solid positional advantage for Black, holdable with precise play but uncomfortable. Move 15 (b3) pushes the evaluation to -1.00 — the threshold at which Stockfish would convert approximately half of its games against another instance of itself. Two inaccuracies in a correspondence game, against an engine-assisted opponent, is a deficit from which escape becomes very unlikely.
