Pretrial services will be handled at the state level for most Illinois counties

The newly created Office of Statewide Pretrial services will oversee electronic monitoring and support services, offer reminders to accused individuals of court dates, and help with scheduling for most Illinois counties. Some counties that already have offices or departments to manage pretrial services will continue to handle them at the local level.
