NOTES: Net price is calculated by subtracting the average amount of financial aid from the total cost of attendance. It is then averaged across sector, weighted by the number of first-time, full-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students receiving Title IV federal financial aid. All net prices are for students receiving federal aid. Net prices at CSU and UC are for students paying in-state tuition. Private sector includes only degree-granting, primarily baccalaureate four-year institutions. Adjusted for inflation using the Bureau of Labor Statistics R-CPI-U-RS data.
