High school cellphone polices by SD school district

Cellphone policies vary across South Dakota school districts. Most districts allow high school students to use their phones during lunch and between classes. Policy descriptions are based on a survey of superintendents, unless noted otherwise.

Colman-Egan, Doland, McIntosh and Newell school districts did not respond to survey questions and do not have their cellphone policies readily available online. South Central School District does not have a high school or middle school. Big Stone City School District does not have a high school.
