Characteristics of Australian workers without leave entitlements.

(a) ABS Employee Earnings, Benefits and Trade Union Membership survey 2009-13; (b) ABS Working Time Arrangements survey and Survey of Employment Arrangements and Superannuation, 2006-12; (c) 'Narrowly defined casuals' are workers without leave who (i) have been with their employer less than 12 months, (ii) do not expect to be with their employer in 12 months’ time; and (iii) have hours of work that vary from week to week or are on standby.
