Utility donations to GOPAC have risen sharply since 2018

Utility companies and trade associations gave nearly $500,000 to GOPAC's 527 group in the first half of 2026, putting contributions on pace to surpass 2025's record. The number of utilities and trade associations that made contributions also increased, rising from an average of 3 per year between 2004 and 2018 to 11 in 2025.
