Total median compensation rose to record levels this year, with median base salaries up $5,000 over last year to $140,000 and other guaranteed median compensation rising by $3,700 to $28,700. This year 14% of HBS grads reported other guaranteed pay, up a point from 2017's 13%. Some 66% of the class reported median sign-on bonuses of $25,000 each.
