Project Blue jail program experiences huge growth

The number if Erie County jail inmates and detainees who have participated in the Project Blue program, designed to keep people released from jail from returning, has grown by leaps and bounds, particularly since 2022, when the program was expanded to include the Correctional Facility in Alden, as well as the Holding Center.
